Woodbury Skater Receives Top Scholastic Honors!

Scholastic Honors Team and Graduating Seniors-Platinum Recipient!

Recently Jordan Weiss received two top-awards from the USFSA!  

The Scholastic Honors Team  recognizes skaters that have distinguised themsevles in figure skating, academics and community contribution.   Jordan was selected as one of only Ten skaters to receive the award for 2014.    As the field has grown and the competivness of the award has increased, USFSA has recognized an additional 10 skaters for "Honorable Mention Roll".  Jordan was an Honorable Mention recipient for 2013. 

Jordan received a Honors Team Jacket, $2,500 scholorship and a $1,000 donation to the charity of her chosing-Sunbeam Boys Home in Jamaica.

Graduating Seniors Program-Platinum Level

This award recognizes the achievements of individuals that continued their training in figure skating while pursuing their academic studies.   Jordan received the Platinum Level award as a competitor at the U.S. Synchronized Skating Champtionships and International competitions at the junior and senior level.
