FULL-DAY AND HALF-DAY CAMPS INCLUDE
On-Ice Classes: Jumps, spins, edges and turns, connecting moves, musical interpretation/choreography, ice dance, power, and on-ice harness.
Off-Ice Classes: Warm-up, stretching, jumps, dance/movement, conditioning harness, and classroom education.
CAMP OPTIONS
HALF-DAY CAMP
WFSC Member: $325.00
Non-WFSC Member: $350.00
Monday through Friday - 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
The Half-Day Camp Camp is a half day of on ice and off ice skating skills.
Minimum Age: 5 years of age or older (or with coach approval).
Minimum Level: ISI Pre-Alpha through Delta or Learn to Skate USA Basic 1-6.
FULL-DAY CAMP
WFSC Member: $475.00
Non-WFSC Member: $500.00
Monday through Thursday - 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Friday - 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
The Full-Day Camp is a full day of on ice and off ice skating skills.
Minimum Age: 7 years of age or older (or with coach approval).
Minimum Level: ISI Delta or higher.
SINGLE-DAY CAMP
Cost: $125.00 per day
Choose one, two, three, or four days (Monday through Thursday).
Time: 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Join us for a single day or more when your schedule allows. You will participle in the full day schedule and have training from our WFSC coaches and guest coaches scheduled that day. (Schedule to be provided once available.)
Please register 24 hours in advance.
HIGH-LEVEL SPECIALTY CAMP:
Cost: $185.00
High-Level Skaters (FS5 or USFS Equivalent) unable to attend the Full-Day or Half-Day Camp are invited to a High-Level Specialty Camp. The High-Level Specialty Camp will run from Monday through Thursday 12:00 p.m. to 1:45 p.m. High-Level Specialty Camp skaters will skate with guest coaches and WFSC coaches. The specialty camp will include both on-ice and off-ice skating skills. 12:00 p.m. to 1:15 p.m will be on-ice skating skills, and 1:15 p.m. to 1:45 p.m. will be off-ice skating skills.
This option is available for FS5 (or USFS equivalent) or with WFSC Camp Coach Coordinator approval.
PRIVATE LESSONS
Supplemental private lessons may be available for an additional fee. Registration for private lessons may be available one week prior to the Camp. More Information to come.
Peter Biver is the Director and Head Coach of Shattuck-St. Mary’s Figure Skating Center of Excellence. He is a US National and International Coach (for Poland) as well as a US National Competitor in Senior Pairs. Peter is a 6-time US Figure Skating (USFS) Gold Medalist in Skating Skills, Singles, Pairs, Compulsory Dance, Partnered Free Dance, and Solo Free Dance. Peter is the coach of multiple USFS Gold Medalists in Skating Skills, Singles, Pairs, and Ice Dance. He specializes in the portable pole harness to assist skaters in learning jumps and enjoys working with all ages and levels. Peter toured with Holiday on Ice throughout Europe and Russia and earned a BBA degree from St. Norbert College in De Pere, WI. Peter is guided by his passion to bring a holistic approach to each skater’s development in pursuit of their potential as an athlete and artist.
Surya Bonaly is a 9-time French and 5-time European Figure Skating Champion, 3-time Olympian, and 3-time World Silver Medalist. Surya is the first female figure skater to attempt quadruple jumps in ISU competition (Salchow and Toe Loop) and is renowned for being the only skater to perform a back flip executed with a full split in the air and landed on one foot. Her coaching style is electric and innovative, drawing upon her numerous years as a featured skater in some of the world’s premiere skating shows. Surya is a full time coach during the school year at Shattuck-St. Mary’s School, an international boarding school located in Faribault, MN.
Garrett Kling is a professional skater, USFS Master-Rated Choreographer, and Co-Executive Director of American Ice Theatre. He has choreographed for national and international skaters across disciplines and performed with companies across the world like Holiday On Ice, Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines, and Le Patin Libre. Garrett aims to bring a creative and empowering approach to his teaching, encouraging skaters to find their own unique voice on the ice.
